# Fees

Superstar charges a flat fee of 1% on buy and sell orders, which is applied as a taker fee in SOL. 

No fees are charged for creating a coin the only cost is the gas fee, which may vary depending on the chain you are using.

3 Sol of fees are charged on migration.

### What is the use case for these fees?

These fees are used to develop the platform, cover maintenance costs, and a portion is directly distributed to users who use their referral link.
